Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens

Earlier this summer, Corporate Responsibility Magazine named their top 100 Best Corporate Citizens for 2019. Even more reason to celebrate, this year marked the 20th Anniversary of Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens list.

Corporate Responsibility Magazine is a bi-annual publication produced by 3BL Media with a focus on educating brands on how to build a sustainable global business. The Best Corporate Citizens list an annual review of the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies otherwise known as the Russell 1000. 3BL Media partners with ISS-ESG to rank companies transparency and performance on 134 environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.

Sustainability Role Models

There are several environmental, social and governance pillars considered in measuring the company’s sustainability ranking. Environmental criteria include many factors from waste, emissions and risk management to internal climate change disclosures and strategies. Social criteria looks at employee stakeholders relations as well as human rights. Lastly, the review includes a look into corporate governance and financials.

We would like to congratulate all candidates for making the list. We know the diligence and hard work that goes into creating and maintaining a sustainable operation, we applaud your efforts and wish you continued success.
